At !nc Education, we believe behaviour is not a battle to be won — it is a message to be understood.
We exist to empower teachers and educational leaders with the clarity, confidence, and practical tools they need to create calm, purposeful, and inclusive learning environments. Whether you are seeking strategic guidance, whole-school development, or highly tailored workshops, we partner with you on your journey toward sustainable educational excellence.
Regulation First. Always.
Education in the UK is undergoing a profound shift. Across the sector, schools are moving away from sanction-heavy systems and toward relational, trauma-informed and regulation-first practice — shaped by developments in neurobiology and the statutory recognition of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs within the SEND framework.
Our work sits firmly within this evolution.
Following our most recent research, we are advancing Regulation First Pedagogy — a transformative approach that reframes the question from: “How do we make them behave?” to “How do we help them feel safe enough to learn?”
This approach integrates:
Because co-regulation precedes self-regulation.
Because safety is the foundation of learning.
Because relationships are the primary intervention.
Experienced. Grounded. Credible.
We do not teach theory from a distance.
Having applied the Low Arousal Approach extensively in classrooms, we understand both its power and its challenges — particularly in supporting learners with autism, ADHD, trauma histories, and wider social-emotional needs. We also directly address common misconceptions, including the myth that low arousal equals permissiveness.
It does not.
Low arousal practice promotes consistent, respectful boundaries rooted in understanding. It reduces escalation, minimises harm, and protects dignity — for both staff and learners. Misinterpretations often stem from training delivered without lived educational application. Our work bridges that gap between theory and daily school reality.
What a Positive Behaviour Approach Really Looks Like
High-stress environments and punitive responses can unintentionally escalate the very behaviours they seek to suppress. Drawing on psychological research, learning theory, and real-world case studies, we demonstrate what effective, ethical behaviour support looks like in action.
Our training equips staff to:
We replace reactive cycles with preventative strategy. We reduce restrictive practices. We build systems that support — rather than strain — staff and learners.
For Educators Who Care
If you are reading this, you likely care deeply about children and young people. You may also be feeling stretched, questioning sustainability, or searching for approaches that are both humane and effective.
The behaviour landscape is challenging — but it is also a turning point. This shift is not about being “soft.”
It is about being effective.
It is about responding to behaviour in ways that reduce harm, increase safety, and create genuine, lasting change.
At !nc Education, we help you move from compliance-driven systems to regulation-first, relational practice — with clarity, compassion, and practical confidence.
Together, we can create environments where staff feel supported, learners feel safe, and everyone can thrive.
